These Health and Social Care students are in their 2nd year of undergraduate study, bringing a strong mix of academic knowledge and practical experience. Many also have hands-on experience as care assistants, nurses, or in residential care settings, alongside transferable skills gained through retail and customer-facing roles. Charity and Social Enterprise Clinic Placements- FC7W03 Work Related Learning
The Charities and Social Enterprise Clinic (CSEC) builds on London Metropolitan University’s long-standing connection with London’s Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) sector. Through the CSEC, charities and social enterprises can connect with our students, who are engaged across a wide range of applied modules, including community development, digital communications, business administration, media production, technology, and teaching support. Always keen to gain experience and make an impact, our hard-working, connected, and informed students (supervised by London Met academic tutors) can help you develop your organisation while gaining professional skills. CS6W50 – Programming, Software Development & Cybersecurity

These learners have experience in programming (Python, Java, C++), software development, cybersecurity principles, data science, and systems analysis. Their skills range from entry-level to intermediate, enabling them to work on both development and technical support tasks.

FC5W51 – Robotics and Electronics
FC5W51
Students in this experience are equipped with both theoretical and practical skills in robotics, programming, and electronic systems. They are capable of supporting companies with hands-on technical projects requiring innovation, problem-solving, and system integration. What they can offer to companies: Robotics & Automation: Design, test, and optimize robotic systems or automation prototypes. Embedded Systems & PCB Design: Develop and program microcontrollers, design circuit boards, and build functional electronic components. Programming & AI Applications: Apply coding skills in C/C++, Python, and use AI libraries such as OpenCV or scikit-learn for basic computer vision and machine learning tasks. Ethical Hacking & Linux: Conduct basic cybersecurity testing and work within Linux environments for system setup or troubleshooting. Hardware Research & Procurement: Independently identify technical requirements, source components, and plan project builds based on company needs.
