Lenawee County Chemical Manufacturers Digital Marketing and Social Media Blitz
The Lenawee County Chemical Manufacturers Collaborative has determined that there is a public misconception regarding working in the local chemical industry. It seems many believe that the work is dirty, dark and dangerous, or that you must have a degree in chemistry to apply. Neither of these assumptions are true, but it prevents many from applying for open positions in these companies. Over the last four years the companies have been working to correct these misperceptions. To begin, they created a series of promotional videos outlining the great career opportunities, safe environments, sustainability efforts, and global impact of each company. They would now like to promote these same concepts through a digital marketing and social media campaign. Since the audience they are attempting to reach are young adults seeking career opportunities, they thought it best to reach out for assistance from young adults to help develop the campaign. Project goal - a Spring presentation from each team outlining their efforts to create a digital marketing and social media campaign that could enhance future recruiting and hiring efforts.
