This project is designed for students who want to apply strategic thinking to real business challenges and build the systems that keep a creative agency running smoothly.
What Your Week-to-Week Will Look Like
Upon joining, you’ll meet with Lavndr’s Founder to align your strengths with the agency’s current priorities. You’ll work closely together through weekly Google Meet check-ins to track progress, troubleshoot roadblocks, and gain insight into how an agency functions behind the scenes. You’ll also have access to internal tools like G-Suite, Trello, HoneyBook, and Canva to support your deliverables and workflow.

This internship is structured to span 60 hours, with flexibility to match your learning pace and academic schedule. We’ll provide weekly 1:1s, templates and documentation where needed to support your execution, while also helping you translate your work into portfolio-ready assets and resume-building accomplishments for a future in operations, sales and marketing.

Students will select 1 of 2 specialized pathways to provide meaningful support to Lavndr Media and build practical business management skills. Each pathway focuses on solving real challenges the agency currently faces - such as unclear workflows, low client retainers, inconsistent marketing performance, and high adjustment rates between proposed and finalized pricing due to downward pressure during negotiations.
Business Analyst Pathway
Your job is to help Lavndr run more efficiently from the inside out. You'll focus on creating structure—clarifying roles, defining who we serve, and building a workflow that can scale as we take on more clients. This role is about helping us move with clarity and intention instead of reacting to chaos.
Key Deliverables:
- Team Structure & Delegation Map: Define Lavndr’s core business functions and recommend how tasks should be divided across roles now and as we grow. Suggest how the founder can delegate more effectively to meet overall business objectives.
- Service Structure & Pricing Model: Review Lavndr’s current service offerings and propose a simplified, tiered structure (e.g., core packages vs. add-ons). Recommend how pricing can reflect value while balancing delivery capacity, team resources, and client expectations.
- Workflow Blueprint: Map out the full client journey from lead capture to proposal, to execution. Highlight weaknesses in how we function by diving deeper into our business operations, and addressing strategic recommendations towards streamlining the process.
Requirements:
- Background in Business, Strategy, or Operations
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Clear written communication
- Self-directed and detail-oriented
- Familiarity with Google Workspace and Trello (preferred)
- Comfortable giving presentations, and creating reports that can communicate long-term goals.
Account Coordinator Pathway
Your job is to help Lavndr stay organized and consistent across all client-facing interactions. You’ll focus on improving how we track leads, deliver proposals, and follow up, so we can close deals more effectively and reduce missed opportunities. This role is about bringing structure to the chaos and making sure communication flows smoothly from start to finish.
- CRM Audit & Optimization: Review how Lavndr currently uses HoneyBook to manage leads, proposals, and follow-ups. Identify gaps, missed automation opportunities, or unclear stages in the client journey. Recommend improvements to make the system smoother, faster, and more reliable.
- Proposal Support Kit: Assist in preparing 2–3 real client proposals by supporting research, visual layout, and messaging clarity. Help ensure our pitches reflect our value and are delivered on time.
- Outreach Messaging Library: Work with our current list of outreach messages, and support in executing emails within our Google Workspace. You'll work with the founder in refining our pitches to clients, and performing outreach, while tracking our client interactions in our CRM or Spreadsheet.
Requirements:
- Background in Marketing, Business, or Communications
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Familiarity with CRMs (HoneyBook a plus)
- Detail-oriented, and confident with client-facing tasks.
- Comfortable writing emails and refining messaging.
- Experience with Google Workspace (Gmail, Docs, Sheets)
Providing specialized, in-depth knowledge and general industry insights for a comprehensive understanding.
Sharing knowledge in specific technical skills, techniques, methodologies required for the project.
Direct involvement in project tasks, offering guidance, and demonstrating techniques.
Providing access to necessary tools, software, and resources required for project completion.
Scheduled check-ins to discuss progress, address challenges, and provide feedback.

We focus on spotting gaps in their customer journey and creating targeted marketing content to help turn more leads into loyal clients. We primarily work with clients and teams across the GTA and Canada to operate a people-first, Canadian business.
