Ce cours est jumelé au cours Gestion financière/Financial Management dans le cadre du module 2 du programme de MBA de l'ESG UQÀM.
Le présent cours vise à familiariser les étudiant.e.s à la raison d'être du marketing et à les exposer aux principales décisions et responsabilités d'un gestionnaire de marketing dans les entreprises ou organismes à but lucratifs ou non. Les étudiant.e.s pourront établir un diagnostic interne et externe fondé sur des informations marketing pertinentes et élaborer un plan stratégique de marketing qui serait efficient et efficace.
Les exemples de projets incluent, mais ne sont pas limités à :
- Analyse de la stratégie marketing : Fournir des recommandations sur les méthodes que vous pouvez utiliser pour exploiter et améliorer votre stratégie de marketing, en fonction du budget de votre organisation et de votre stratégie de marketing actuelle.
- Analyse FFOM.
- Plan marketing pour atteindre avec succès votre ou vos objectifs marketing.
- Stratégie de mix marketing : Fournir un aperçu et recommander des stratégies durables liées au marketing mix (produit, lieu, prix et promotion).
- Effectuer des analyses internes et externes (y compris sur les clients, les concurrents, le marché et l'environnement) ainsi que sur les performances antérieures du mix marketing.

This course is paired with the Gestion financière/Financial Management course as part of Module 2 of the ESG UQÀM MBA program.
The goal of this course is to familiarize students with the purpose of marketing and to expose them to the key decisions and responsibilities of a marketing manager in both for-profit and not-for-profit businesses and organizations. Students will be able to establish an internal and external diagnosis based on relevant marketing information and develop a strategic marketing plan that would be efficient and effective.
Project examples include but are not limited to:
- Marketing Strategy Analysis: Provide recommendations on methods you can use to leverage and improve your marketing strategy, based on your organization's budget and your current marketing strategy.
- SWOT Analysis.
- Marketing plan to successfully achieve your marketing goal(s).
- Marketing mix strategy: Provide insight and recommend sustainable strategies related to the marketing mix (product, location, price, and promotion).
- Conduct internal and external analysis (including customer, competitor, market and environmental analysis) and past performance of the marketing mix.

Companies must answer the following questions to submit a match request to this experience:
